It is especially equipped to extract radioactive gases such as iodine, its compounds as well as war gases. The compact retainer cell is made from stainless steel. The SAF CCC- Changeable Carbon Cell is held in place by anti-tension-fade devices, which keep the carbon under permanent pressure to avoid leakages and bypasses. The carbon can be exchanges easily by removing the cover lid and pour out the carbon after the activity has decayed to a save level.
